The north-Fulton location may be the practical in-person contact for a Roswell voter, while the main office remains the county custodian. Official county materials list weekday service from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Fulton center. Confirm the service needed and current hours before traveling.

Note: A Roswell postal address does not change the fact that Fulton County administers ordinary voter registration for city residents.

Fields in Roswell Voter Records

A Georgia voter record can hold much more than the MVP dashboard displays. Administrative data may include the voter's name, residence and mailing addresses, registration date, status, county, precinct, district assignments, voter identification number, birth information, assistance flags, and participation history. The public order file has a documented 52-column layout. Access still depends on the field, the product, and statutory protections.

A field in the internal record is not automatically open to every requester. The standard public list product contains voter and district fields, while protected identifiers are withheld. The file layout can also change, so inspect the current layout linked from the order page before designing a database or comparing an older export.

Private Fields in Georgia Voter Records

Georgia draws a firm line between an orderable voter roll and private identifying data. O.C.G.A. § 21-2-225 protects Social Security numbers, driver's-license or state-ID numbers, date of birth, and other confidential information from general disclosure. Names, addresses, precinct and district data, and election-participation fields may appear in a public list product unless another protection applies.

Public access does not permit stalking, threats, harassment, impersonation, or fraud. Georgia stalking law, O.C.G.A. §§ 16-5-90 et seq., and harassing-communications law, O.C.G.A. § 16-11-39.1, may apply based on conduct. Use Roswell voter records only for a lawful purpose and respect any address protection shown by the official system.

Roswell Voter History, Not Choices

Commercial use of an elector list covered by O.C.G.A. § 21-2-225 is a misdemeanor under O.C.G.A. § 21-2-601. If the need is to fix one person's record, contact Fulton instead of buying a list.

Note: Choose the smallest file that answers the need, since Georgia does not refund voter-list orders or build custom extracts.

Roswell Voter Status Changes

Active, inactive, and cancelled are distinct voter-record states. Secretary of State guidance says a voter stays active through contact with the election system within five years. Voting, requesting an absentee ballot, signing a petition, or updating an address can count as contact. An inactive label starts a confirmation and list-maintenance process. It does not by itself bar the person from voting.

Address moves and status errors should go to Fulton Registration and Elections, the keeper of the official Roswell record. Cancellation can now be requested through the state online portal, while paper and email routes remain available. County guidance places common processing at one to two weeks. Old Roswell poll lists and registration books follow the county that governed the community when the record was made.
